On Mental Health Day…

Indigo Center For Justice Engages Pupils on drug abuse

In commemorating World Mental Health Day, the Indigo Centre for Justice held engagements with pupils in government and priate schools on the dangers of drug abuse, and how it could render the victim in a deplorable mental state, in some cases, causing irreversible damage.

Indigo Centre for Justice engaged students of The Government Secondary School in Kingtom and The International Secondary School at the Jomo Kenyatta Road in Freetown, on the issue of drug abuse and its relation to mental health; as the world celebrated Mental Health day during the course of last week.

The students were admonished to stay away from drugs, especially KUSH, which is now a killer in our society. In his statement, Mr. Joel Vincent of Indigo, advised them to find someone to express their concerns and issues, rather than resulting to drugs
