Police Declares Abubakarr and others wanted
The Sierra Leone police have declared Abubakar Kamara and others whose photographs appeared above wanted, A warrant of arrest has also issued by the magistrate court in freetown.
As we all could recalled that August 10th protest was one of the worst protests Sierra Leone had ever experienced since independent.
The hearts of the protest were in the capital, Freetown, and in Northern part (especially in makeni and kamakwie
The protests were triggered by the nation’s cost of living crisis and calling on president Bio to resigned just after the protests subsided, the vice president of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Juldeh jalloh issued a nationwide curfew order.
According to alleged allegations of government that, The protest left over 27 civilians including 6 police officers dead, a lot of properties including private and government properties were destroyed, meanwhile, after the riot, president Bio accused the opposition for being the pillar of financing the protest.
He also put more emphatic accusation to Adebayo, a Sierra Leoneans citizen base in Holland.
Some state securities accused Abubakar Kamara a resident at 7f Savage street, Brama lane in Freetown and his wife Tima Kamara, a constituency chairman and his wife were also accused of been part of the organizers in Freetown, also state securities were generally accused them of involving in the killing of police officers.
During the August 10th 2022 protest, Kamara brother and wife were also arrested including others but she later escaped from the hands of the police officers and they were declared wanted by the Sierra Leone police.
It could recalled that, since the SLPP government came to power 2018, supporters of the main opposition APC, have been intimidated, arrested loss of lives from the stronghold of the opposition, and hundreds of not thousands incarnates for merely criticizing and bringing out the ills of the current government.
For this reason, at presently, for those who are in the government wanted list are nowhere to be seen or found while others citizens were arrested and charged to court.
The life of Mr. Kamara and others is currently in danger as he could be arrested at any time seen by the police and charged to court, Kamara and his wife ran away with their two children on unknown destination
