Recent information has come to light regarding a troubling incident involving the Ojeh Society, a well-known and long-established group in Sierra Leone. This society has reportedly been involved in an alarming attack on the residence of a man named Mohamed Kamara. It is worth noting that Mohamed left Sierra Leone many years ago; his whereabouts have remained uncertain since his departure, primarily due to his distressing experiences with the Ojeh Society. The group had been pressuring him to rejoin and assume a leadership role that had once belonged to his late father, who was the head of the society. Faced with this coercion, Mohamed chose to flee, seeking refuge from the obligations and expectations that haunted him.

In a disturbing turn of events, it has been reported that a group of individuals has recently attacked and severely damaged one of the Ojeh Society’s sacred shrines. During this tumultuous period, eyewitness accounts suggest that Mohamed’s younger brother was seen among those responsible for the destruction. This incident appears to have sparked a violent backlash from the society’s members, who took it upon themselves to seek retribution against the Kamara family.

Members of the Ojeh Society subsequently descended upon Mohamed’s family home, where they vandalized the property and inflicted serious physical harm on both his mother and younger brother. The violence escalated to such a degree that Mohamed’s brother was forcibly taken by the society’s members, leaving the family in a state of desperation and fear, as he has been missing ever since. In the chaos of the attack, Mohamed’s mother sustained significant injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care.

As if these events were not tragic enough, the members of the Ojeh Society extended their campaign of violence to Mohamed’s wife’s village, where they vandalized her home in a misguided attempt to seek revenge on Mohamed for his perceived betrayal. This series of attacks illustrates the lengths to which the Ojeh Society may go to assert control and punish those who defy them or fail to conform to their demands, leaving a wake of chaos and suffering in their pursuit of power and loyalty.
