APC Diasporans Boosts Elected MPs With 52 Bags Rice & Le400m

At a presentation held on Friday at the Headquarters of the main opposition party APC, the Secretary General of the party, Lansana Dumbuya Esq. officially received 52 bags of rice from representatives of Diasporans.

Speaking at the brief ceremony, Lansana Dumbuya expressed gratitude to the Diasporans for their thoughtfulness in providing this kind of support to their elected members. He disclosed that the bags of rice will be distributed among all the Members of Parliament of the party that have stood behind the resolution of the party and boycotted Parliament. He said that this is just a token and a sign of appreciation expressed by the Diasporans. He commended the Diasporans for this laudable gesture. He also disclosed that some Le400,000,000 (Four hundred Million Leones) cash has been sent to their account by the Diasporans in support of the stance of the elected members, which will also be distributed among all elected members.

Lansana Dumbuya maintained that this donation came at the right time when things are difficult and the cost of living very high. He stressed that the resilience of the party cannot be dampened and that together they are stronger, and thanked all members for staying the course.

The ceremony was climaxed with an inspection of the 52 bags of rice.
