Afrimoney Signs     MOU With Rokel Bank

Afrimoney, an appendage of Africell, has on Friday 18th November,2022, signed a partnership agreement with Rokel Commercial Bank for the ‘Put ‘N pull’ and ‘Quick ‘N easy’ Digital banking system.

According to the two institutions, this partnership is to make things easier for their customers and reduce the cash flow around and that it is a win-win partnership as the two companies are always determined to give the best to their customers.

Umaru Shyllon, Business Center Manager of Rokel Commercial Bank said the Bank decides to partner with Afrimoney to promote financial inclusion in the Country.

He added that Afrimoney being the widest digital transaction platform and Rokel Bank being the leading Commercial Bank in the Country see the need to partner together to enable their customers to get money from their wallets through their bank accounts. He said the facility is simple and reliable and thus gives customers the opportunity to access their accounts in their comfort zones.

Director of Finance OF Rokel Commercial Bank, Abassie Thomas,  said the two giant companies decided to partner to enhance financial inclusion and give their customers the opportunity to access their account without going to the Banking hall. “This opportunity is a big explosion for both Afrimoney and Rokel Bank Customers”, said RCB Director of Finance, and calling  on all customers of these two institutions to make good use of the opportunity to withdraw money from their accounts in their comfort zones.

Rokel Bank, he said, is a formal institution but their business are done in informal basis.

Director of Afrimoney, Martison Obeng- Agyei, expressed excitement for the partnership, which according to him, will bring relief to both Afrimoney and Rokel Bank Customers.

He urged all Afrimoney Customers to start banking with Rokel Commercial Bank, and said that the partnership will help their customers to save time at any time of the day.

“Where there is Afrimoney, there is Rokel Bank”, he disclosed and therefore stated that the bank to Wallet Service Vice Versa will be available 24-hours a day. He furthered that the service will help customers to relax and do transfer or receive payment anytime, anywhere in the country. He concluded by thanking Rokel Commercial Bank for make this possible.

Managing Director of Rokel commercial Bank, Ekundayo Walton Gilpin, revealed that the Bank is in this partnership to improve the financial sector.

According to the Rokel Bank MD, the banking sector is increasing the financial access point where you take or deposit your money and expressed happiness for the bank to collaborate with Afrimoney which he says is a realism to the Banking system in Sierra Leone.

The Erudite MD described the marriage between the two institution as wonderful relationship that is not only going to benefit the bank, but the community at large and for that he appreciated Afrimoney and assured that the bank would do its best to make sure cash is always available to subscribers using the bank to wallet service.
