Senior Management at the Sierra Leone Police Headquarters on George Street, Freetown, has confirmed to this medium that there is no delay in their monthly supply of rice.
This is contrary to some baseless media reports alleging delay in the supply .
According to senior personnel of the SLP, the reports being peddled on the media are far from the reality noting that they were very pleased with the rice supplier whom they say was always on top of situation in making sure that they get timely and quality supply.
It is no gainsaying that good people in society are always at the receiving end of smear attacks and pull him down syndrome either by competitors or mischief makers.
This seems to be presently the case with the Sierra Leone Police Rice Supplier, Ahmed Hashim of VIP Trading Company, whose successes so far in executing his contract seems to be a thorn in the flesh of previously failed contractors and their collaborators.
They are now seen to be doing everything and anything including paying social media mischief makers in the guise of journalists to throw spanners in the good works of the young man who continues to boost the morale of the Sierra Leone Police Force by supplying never- seen before quality rice to the SLP.
‘It is preposterous for anyone to suggest a delay in our rice supply when our January supply had long been received and February is now underway’, senior police management disclosed adding that they were grateful for the excellent work of VIP in making sure that he always delivers.
