On Friday 28th July 2023, one of the leading mobile network Operator in Sierra Leone, Africell, launched the Africell MEGA promotion at their Headquarters at Wilberforce in Freetown.
During the Event, Mrs. Nancy Toure, Event manager of Africell, welcomed everyone to the launching and furthered that Africell believes in giving out its best to its customers, ensuring that they enjoy mobile communication, as well as providing the best tariff for them. She furthered that in all their undertakings, they ensure that they provide the best quality at affordable cost.
Madam Toure furthered that they are not only focused on making profit, but rather give out their best in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility, through various promotions and other activities. She encouraged citizen to take advantage of the opportunity that Africell is providing in its promotions. In respect of the current promotion that is being launched, she called on residents to be part of the biggest promotion that Africell is making and win big attractive prizes.
Speaking at the event, Joe Abass Bangura, the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Africell, gave a rundown of the promotions of the company, stating that this new promotion is known as MEGA promotion, adding that this promotion is the biggest of its kind, as compared to the others they have been doing, and is a breaking record thing.
Joe Abass Bangura furthered that since 2007 they have rolled out a lot of promotions where customers had won huge prizes totaling 1 billion Leones to customers, and this has changed the lives of many youths and ordinary citizens all over the nation. This, the Corporate Bass said, is the story of Africell, and that they would continue to do more. Among the beneficiaries of these promotions is Kelvin Doe, a young man, who was supported fully and has a good record that is written in the book of Annals of innovation in the country. His progress can thus be traced to Africell.
Commenting of the MEGA promotion, Mr. Bangura said that it is a bigger one, which is going to run for 6 months; starting from Monday 31st July 2023, to end on 31st January 2024, wherein Africell subscribers would have the wildest surprise of their lives through this promotion.
